Analyzed some of competitors’ key objectives, marketing profile, overall strategy, created both SWOT and UX analyses.
User Persona
Based on user research I identified two personas with different needs. I created user journeys to help me empathize with potential users and figure out there pain points.

Journey Maps
I took a step back and concentrated on user flows in order to make my design more user-centered and, therefore, more successful from the users’ point of view. This are user flows for scanning QR and sending money plus requesting money from contact or QR.

Usability Testing
I conducted Usability Test to assess the learnability of new users interacting with the LakiPay app for the first time. I observed and measured if users understand the app and how to complete functions such as logging in, adding account, sending and receiving money and chatting with merchants and friends. Thanks to the Usability Test I was able to define and solve a few issues.
Issues
The feedback we got from our user testing showed that the second Dashboard is preferred as it looks more clean, simpler and efficient, also adjusted the spacing and proportion. The quick actions bar card was simplified as it is the main point of focus and was well received by users instead of having a whole card cover the top section we reduced it to the middle and it looked more tidy.

Preference Test
After conducting a preference test with 30 users, 64% of them have expressed a preference for option #3, which is why we choose the quick action to be in the top half and simpler card, seems more simple and ranks #1 in the usability test.
